Atlantic Elementary School
Mission Statement: The mission of Atlantic School is to ensure that all students obtain the knowledge, skills and
attitudes necessary to reach their potential and become responsible citizens.

Thank you again to our many volunteers who plan to assist with End of Year Testing in May at Atlantic Elementary School. Since Proctors must be trained each year, we will host the following 20 min. training sessions in our Media Center:
Tuesday, April 29th, at 8:00 am and 3:00 pm
Thursday, May 1, at 8:00 am and 3:00 pm
Ms. Leslee will call each volunteer with a reminder. Volunteers should let the office know in advance which one of the four sessions they to plan to attend.

PTO Spring Event: Catered Dinner and Womanless Beauty Pageant

Our Sprint Event is being held on  Friday, May 2nd between 5:00 and 7:00 pm.  The evening will begin with a delicious meal being served in the school cafeteria.  Fat Fellows is catering the food. For only $10 a ticket, you will be served: Fried Chicken, BBQ, coleslaw, baked beans, hush puppies, dessert and a beverage.

To purchase your meal tickets please see a student, PTO member, or an AES staff member. For more information or to find out how you can help, you may call the school at 252-225-3961.

Wrapping up the evening is the Womanless Beauty Pageant which will be held in the auditorium beginning at 7:00 pm - until. A $5.00 entry fee will be collected at the door- no reserved seating. This is going to be a funny and (maybe hysterical) night for all. Come bring a friend, partake of a delicious dinner, and enjoy the show!

Think of this as a small $15 investment into a student's education. We really need and appreciate your help! Thank you for ALL you do!
